Welcome Home is a hat tossing game. The object of the game is to toss a ceramic hat safely onto a foam hat rack without breaking it. If the task is completed, the winner is able to keep the porcelain hat as a trophy. The name “Welcome Home” is a reference to the original source of inspiration, my day. I often wear a hat and the first thing that I do when I get home is to hang my hat on the wall. This daily activity has the potential to be much more—it could be fun, it could be a game, and it could be a moment of play.
